Upon arriving at the farm, the owner stated, "It's late now, and I want to go to bed. Meanwhile, since the dog that kept watch for me died today, you'll take his place right away. You'll be my watch dog." Then the farmhand put a big collar with brass spikes around his neck; attached to it was a large chain that was fastened to the wall. The owner said, "If by chance, those thieves should come, remember to keep your ears cocked and bark."

Night came and the owner went to sleep. Pinocchio tried to sleep but he was awoken by a rustle in the field. He saw the thieves approach him. They told him that if he remained quiet, he would find a ready-plucked hen awaiting him in the morning for his breakfast.

Do you have Pinocchio Bark and wake the owner?

Take the bribe?
